At BlockVerse Institute, we get diverse talent – future ready by providing skilling in high-growth, in-demand technologies, and workplace-specific behavioral skills. Our aim in doing this is for them to be able to secure quality employment. Our focus is women who are on a career break either because of a relocation, maternity, or any other significant event.
What We Do
We skill technologically and behaviourally and prepare our learners for re-entry into the world of work. We look at the job market in the country and understand the skills shortfall – we then train our learners accordingly to what is desired. We deeply understand the world of our learners and take care to handhold and support them in their reintegration journey. All our sessions are done by experts and in live settings. Our behavioral sessions are done in person and we aim to build a vibrant supportive community.
Examples of Our Work and Market Validation
Empowering Women in Tech: We have successfully trained all-female batches in Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Machine Learning. Nearly 120 women across South Africa, India, and the Netherlands have been skilled, with 50% securing employment in growing tech sectors.
For the work we do – we have after a long due diligence process been empaneled as official partners to marquee companies like Google and Deloitte. We have also worked with the Dutch Government and received backing from the Dutch Enterprise Agency( RVO)
Recognized and Supported: We have been recognized as:
- Skilling partners for AnitaB.Org – a non-profit organization that powers the prestigious Grace Hopper event – the largest event for women in tech professionals.
- We are also part of the 2024 Dutch New Narrative Lab cohort – a foundation that supports social impact companies
- We are also ESDP (European supplier diversity) certified – a body that supports businesses built by founders with a migrant background
