Introducing the ACCESS Board
udpated 2 February 2024 | By Deborah Valentine
As a Stichting, ACCESS has been managed by a supervisory board since its formation in 1986. Its formation was a response to a situation first identified and researched by the American community in The Hague. Since then it has grown, evolved and now serves any international person/family coming to live and work in the Netherlands. The working language is English – which is the only qualifier for the services we provide. Naturally there have been changes over the years and today it gives us pleasure to provide an introduction to the current ACCESS Board. Our current board offers a varied and diverse set of skills, knowledge and experience all of which serve the overall health and vibrancy of our foundation. Below, an introduction to our current Board Members.
Kim Jooste – Chair of the Board since January 2023, Kim brings 25+ years experience in the energy and chemical industries and in leadership development. Her international exposure, having worked in more than 20 countries has provided her with a wealth of experience and hands on knowledge in a number of functions which will benefit ACCESS as we continue to provide services to internationals coming to work and live in the Netherlands.
Roy Fu – as a member of The Hague Business Agency, Roy is responsible for assisting with the arrival, reception and settlement of new foreign companies and their new employees in The Hague region. The activities and insights of Roy help ACCESS be aware of changes and developments in the field of inward FDIs in the Netherlands.
Dorottya Bölöni – is a truly passionate finance professional with more than 15 years of experience working on corporate level and local entities, in cross functional- and international leadership teams. This experience, combined with her own international experience relocating to the Netherlands supports our focus, and ensures our operations are financially sound.
Inge Nitsche – has been the CEO of Expatise Academy for more than 10 years, and champions the challenges of preparing professionals for the broad world of Global Mobility HR issues. Her network, knowledge and expertise advises the work of ACCESS and our efforts to be more visible among HRs of international employers in the Netherlands.
Seliz Demirci is closely involved in the expatriate/international community as an attorney specialising in employment law. She has a good understanding of the community GMW is dedicated to serving. Within the board of ACCESS, she provides the legal advice ACCESS requires to do its work within Dutch legal parameters.
