An information session designed to answer the questions of expats and/or their partners; newly arrived or facing new questions.
 

The latest ACCESSing the Netherlands, an initiative of ACCESS and the ICP took place on Monday 4 February 2013 at the German International School of The Hague.

 

Meet the experts

During this ‘meet the experts’ opportunity, internationals recently arrived or facing new questions about living in the Netherlands had their questions answered by professionals familiar with the needs of internationals (expats). Experts were invited to make short presentations on the topics listed below, and engaged in Q&A sessions with the audience.

  • Healthcare in the Netherlands
  • Housing & Mortgages
  • Partner career development
  • Education
  • Childcare (incl/ tax benefits)
  • Starting your own business
  • Banking

 

Networking and Dutch delights

The evening was rounded off with networking and a lovely tasting of Dutch Jenever; herring; smoked eel; cheeses & typical meat specialties provided by the merchants of Bankastraat:

The ACCESSing the Netherlands speakers are drawn from the networks of the ICP and ACCESS. Speakers which have been identified as professionals who personally, as well as professionally, have an affinity for and experience in working with the expatriate, international community of the Netherlands.
